I know some of you have never seen me with a band. But I do have a great group of guys to call on when I feel like playing the electric guitar!

Finally finished recording Roll Your Mind , an all original cd where I played all the Instruments. I've always wanted to do a record like this. It sounds exactly the way I hear it in my head! I even produced it with the help of Mark Turnham from Excessivesound.com . I have to give Mark credit where it is due! He does an incredible job of recording. Besides being a great producer / engineer, he has also become a very close friend. I'm not sure about when im gonna release this album because I want to do it right. It's the first one I have had complete control over, so there is gonna be a learning curve for me. All I know is that I am excited and proud of what is done so far! I'm also very proud to have such a wonderful artist (my wife, Sharon Maudsley} at my disposal. She did all the artwork for the album. Hats off to my girl! Catch You guys later!
Yesterday was a very good day for me! I didn't have to go very far to have a good time. If you like to paddle, you might want to check out Nelson's Redneck Yacht Club. Owners, Hank and Teresa Nelson have one of the best venues in Alabama for a festival event. It's almost like a natural ampitheatre. I made some great new friends, had some good food, and had a blast! Just google the event and you will be able to find out all about what you missed if you were not one of the lucky ones who made it this year! Thanks to Ricky Kingery, I now own a fiddle! Ricky won the raffle for the fiddle and gave it to me. Everyone should give a big shout out to Mike and Wendy Quinn for all their hard work in making this happen! Hope to see you there next year!
This Labor Day weekend was a blast! I played the Powers Festival in Newnan, Ga. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. All three days were great. We had some rain on Monday but I still got to play. I even made the front page of The Times-Herald. That was an honor considering it was a arts and crafts festival. I hope to be back next year. All the folks involved were wonderful people! I made some good friends and had such a good time. And most of all thanks to Mark Turnham from Xcessivesound.com and giginarig.com for making it possible for me to meet all these good people! By the way, Mark you made us all sound great! I will try to keep this blog thing going. But being behind a windsheild for most of my time, its hard to find time to write. Well, as most of you know , I hate typing so, I'll catch u later! If there is a spelling, grammar or punctuation error, sorry. I'm a musician, not a writer!
